1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Bartr mobile application and website, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Bartr is a voucher marketplace platform that:

• Connects users with nearby merchants offering vouchers
• Provides a digital wallet system using points (1 rupee = 10 points)
• Enables voucher redemption through QR code scanning
• Facilitates location-based voucher discovery

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use Bartr services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• Ensuring your account information is up to date
• Not sharing your account with others

4. Wallet and Points System

4.1 Points Conversion

Our wallet system operates as follows:

• 1 Indian Rupee = 10 Bartr Points
• Points are non-refundable and non-transferable
• Points expire after 12 months of inactivity
• Minimum wallet recharge amount: ₹10

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment processing is subject to:

• Accepted payment methods: UPI, credit/debit cards, digital wallets
• All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR)
• Payment processing fees may apply
• Failed transactions will be refunded within 3-5 business days

5. Voucher System

5.1 Voucher Redemption

Voucher redemption follows these rules:

• Vouchers can only be redeemed at the specified merchant location
• QR code must be scanned by the merchant for validation
• Vouchers expire immediately after redemption
• Partial redemption is not allowed
• Vouchers cannot be transferred or resold

5.2 Voucher Validity

Each voucher has specific validity terms:

• Expiration dates are clearly displayed on each voucher
• Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed
• Vouchers are subject to merchant availability
• Bartr reserves the right to modify voucher terms

6. Location Services

To provide location-based voucher services:

• Location permissions are required for optimal service
• GPS data is used to show nearby merchants
• Location data is processed according to our Privacy Policy
• You can disable location services in your device settings

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Create fake accounts or provide false information
• Attempt to manipulate the voucher system
• Share or resell vouchers to third parties

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Bartr are owned by Bartr Technologies Pvt Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bartr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through:

1. Direct communication with our customer support team
2. Mediation if the dispute cannot be resolved directly
3. Legal proceedings in the courts of [Jurisdiction] if necessary

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law
